Terms of Use

Last updated October 22, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Emmaus Fund Incorporated ("we," "us") for your use of the Spark app and website. By using Spark, you agree to them.

Spark is a self-help tool, not medical or mental health treatment. It doesn't diagnose, treat, or cure any condition, and it isn't a substitute for a doctor, therapist, or other professional. If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 in the US, or call 911.

Who can use Spark

You must be 18 or older. Don't use Spark if a medical professional has advised you to avoid hypnosis or relaxation audio, for example because of epilepsy or certain psychiatric conditions.

Use Spark safely

AI-generated content

Spark uses artificial intelligence to write conversations and sessions based on what you share. AI can make mistakes, and sessions aren't professional advice. Use your own judgment, and stop any session that doesn't feel right for you.

Subscriptions and free trials

Your content

You own what you share with Spark. You give us permission to use it to create and deliver your sessions and to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Don't share content that's illegal or that you don't have the right to share.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Spark, for example by trying to break, copy, or overload the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it to harm others.

Our content

The Spark app, design, name, and library sessions belong to us. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Disclaimers and limits

Spark is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't guarantee any particular result, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Spark in the 12 months before the claim.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. You can stop using Spark at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
